I’m thrilled to announce the release of my debut novel, Beyond Sight – The Staff of Aegus — the first step into a world I’ve been building quietly for some time.
This book marks the beginning of what I hope will become a five-part saga, each volume taking readers deeper into the unseen corners of this new world.

Beyond Sight – The Staff of Aegus began, like all good stories do, with a simple idea — a spark of imagination that refused to be extinguished. Over the years, that spark grew into a fully-fledged world, complete with its own magic, its own mysteries, and a cast of characters that I’ve come to know almost like old friends. Writing this book has been a true labour of love, and seeing it come to life is an experience I find difficult to put into words.

In this first instalment, readers will step into a realm hidden just beyond the veil of the ordinary — a world where ancient powers stir, forgotten legacies resurface, and unlikely heroes are called upon to stand against the darkness. The Staff of Aegus itself plays a central role, holding secrets and powers that even its bearers scarcely understand.

Without giving too much away, you can expect a journey filled with discovery, danger, and the undeniable pull of destiny.
Beyond Sight isn’t just a story about magic — it’s about the strength we find when we dare to see beyond what’s right in front of us.

Prologue – Whispers of the Veil

There are stories older than time itself, whispered from the leaves of ancient trees and carried on the winds of forgotten lands. Some call them myths, others call them warnings. But in truth, they are neither. They are remnants—echoes of a world divided.

Long ago, the world was whole, its magic unbound and flowing like rivers of light. Humans, creatures, and beings of power shared a single plane of existence, balanced beneath the watchful gaze of the Veil. But balance is a fragile thing. Greed and ambition shattered it, and so the Veil was born—a shimmering boundary drawn between the world we know and the unseen realm beyond.

Since then, the Veil has held firm, separating earth and magic, man and myth. Over centuries, its hum has grown faint, drowned out by the noise of an advancing world. Yet the Veil remembers, even when others forget.
